The popular Taiwan gay romance web series HIStory returns in 2019 with its third installment! With the series growing bigger and better with each season, HIStory3 expands considerably in length with its first story Trapped. Directed by Lee Ching Jung (HIStory2: Right or Wrong), the crime romance series stars Jake Hsu (Close Your Eyes Before It's Dark) and former Super 131 member Chris Wu Cheng Yang as a police officer and a mobster who fall in love.

An incident four years ago resulted in the deaths of a police officer and a mob boss. The lone survivor, gangster Tang Yi (Chris Wu), claimed that he did not see what happened. With no other evidence available, the case was never solved. Since then, impulsive police officer Meng Xiao Fei (Jake Hsu) has been relentlessly monitoring, investigating and badgering Tang Yi who inherited the gang leader position. Xiao Fei is certain that the gangster knows more than he's letting on; meanwhile, Tang Yi is trying to transition the syndicate into legal businesses. Their contentious yet familiar relationship begins to change when they get abducted one day and have to work together to escape. With conflicts brewing in the underworld and Tang Yi being targeted by a mystery enemy, the two see each other even more often and become increasingly drawn to each other.

This edition comes with four photo cards and behind-the-scenes features.

Beautiful DVD Set! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I wasn't expecting such a well made dvd box set. The quality is top notch! It was compatible with my DVD player and it has English subtitles, even in the dvd menu. The little photo cards were really cool and unexpected! Super reasonable price for a fantastic series!

I purchased this box set for myself for my birthday and I just have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by this set. It's a beautiful DVD set. The pictures (3 pics of Meng and Tang-Yi and 1 of Jack and Zhao-Zi)) that come with the set are beautiful. The box design is gorgeous with great pics of the two lead characters. The subs are not perfect but I'm OK with that. The only complaint is that the extras do not have subtitles. Oh...I also like that they took the 20 episodes and combined the episodes so that there are 10 total for the DVD set as well. I recommend this set to any fan of History 3 Trapped! Even with the few sub flaws and no subs in the extras.

Apart from a few mistakes, this series is blessed with excellent English subs. However, be aware: the extras (extended scenes and BTS) are unsubbed.
All 20 episodes have been condensed into ten on two DVDs.
