Writer-director Mitani Koki serves up laughs aplenty in his latest all-star comedy Hit Me Anyone One More Time! Mitani regular Nakai Kiichi (A Ghost of a Chance) plays the hero of the story, Kuroda Keisuke, who wakes up in the hospital one day with no memories of his adult life. He soon learns that he's the prime minister of Japan – and a very terrible and unpopular prime minister at that! The kind that gets rocks thrown at him. Keeping his amnesia a secret from even his family, Kuroda tries to make things right and become a better prime minister with the help of his secretaries, but of course farcical challenges await at every turn. The political comedy's deep ensemble cast includes Dean Fujioka as Kuroda's no-nonsense secretary, Ishida Yuriko as his estranged wife, Hamada Tatsuomi as his teenage son, Sato Koichi as a journalist, Yoshida Yo as an opposition leader, as well as Tanaka Kei, Kimura Yoshino, Koike Eiko, Saito Yuki and Kusakari Masao.
