To celebrate the fifth anniversary of their single debut, visual kei band LM.C has planned a series of activities to lead up to the big day. Their 13th single Hoshi no Arika is the third single in their yearlong celebration, and it's a bright, positive rock number that will also be the opening theme for the anime series Nurarihyon no Mago. The single includes MAD or DIE by THE MAD LM.C as B-side track.

今回はファンの声をブログで呼びかけメールで募集。その集まった声全てをトラックに詰め込みました。その数メールだけで4,000通。声にして約 10,000人分の声が入った、最強シングル! 近い街で日本・渋谷、遠い街で南アフリカ・ヨハネスブルグ。世界中から集まりまくった皆の声を連れて、世に放たれる!
また、週刊少年ジャンプで連載中、コミックス単行本累計売上800万部を超える人気アニメ『ぬらりひょんの孫-千年魔京-』主題歌 (オープニングテーマ)に決定!!
