     Nostalgic Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
    I just received my copy of this movie (the US BluRay version with 2 discs) and I am amazed at the high quality. People below all mentioned how the 4 disc version was the best, but I think this one is definitely sufficient for me- the concert wonderfully long and fun, and the documentary was so nostalgic T.T I cried a bit, actually, especially when I heard about how hard the trainee days were for everyone and definitely when Ryeowook started to cry (I'm a huge ELF, although I love all of SM). Anyway, it was a great buy ^^

     A great great set….but Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
    The Movie (Disk 1) Region 1,2,3,4,5,6
    (Disk 2-4) Region 3

    When I first placed Disk 1 into my computer DVD player, and noted that the SMTown Movie DVD was ALL regions (AnyDVD software), I had high hopes that this 4-disk set was going to be easy to purchase for others outside zones 1 and 3. But after then checking the two main concert disks, they are (I suppose as expected) region 3 only. Movies are generally what region codes were introduced for, so it’s ironic the SMTown movie is region 1,2,3,4,5,6 and yet the full music concert disks/trailers are only region 3. It’s a shame, as it limits the version you want if region codes are an issue. Fans who don’t have a version in their own region (ie Europe), can’t buy this wonderful SMTown Madison Square Gardens concert set, unless buying an imported version with region locked disks and can play them. (The Japan DVD version is region 2/Blu-ray ALL - but with no English subtitles). I can imagine it’s how SM have to deal with other regional releases (US and Japan), and SM didn’t ‘invent’ the region code compartments. But aside that most K-pop fans would love to buy a copy of this concert set, also might like to buy various import versions too, (like CD/Vinyl music collectors). So region ALL seems a win-win for SM and sponsors - ‘spreading the love’ should be unlocked region ‘0’.

    Nevertheless, this Korean set is a very good quality collectible to have, especially to K-pop fans who have been to see this MSG concert. It’s a box set slipcase, not too big, but sturdy enough to hold safely the 4 DVDs inside a black box fold out design, with the I AM text across some of the disks. There’s a thin booklet, too (inside the slip case beside the DVD fold out box), which is stylish and sports a nice cover and seems like a smaller version of a concert programme with photos of SM singers/groups. I only have this DVD version (at present), so I don’t know how this compares to other editions. I only say this as when initial editions are out of print, it gets ever difficult to obtain them (like Kara’s lovely Korean Solo Collection LE, already gone) and if you’d like a Korean MSG 4-disk edition, its best to get one while you can. If you want the quality instead (or also), then the Blu-ray Japanese edition being ALL regions is a good option, but doesn’t have English subtitles. Drawback is…its quite expensive. But more than anything just love the vibe you get from SM artists, as love is the only answer.

     SMTOWN - Mission Portfolio Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
    This SMTown MSG multi artist concert must have been a highly charged evening for those who were there, and all SM favourites gave a wonderful and powerful show. The exuberant stage set and lighting, fireworks and high wire were an immense spectacle (SHINee, SuJu and TVXQ getting into lift off at various stages). Although GG got me to buy this set (I mean the usual winning me over type of thing, not GG putting my arms behind my back and forcing me to buy it) I found SuJu impressive, especially on their ‘Don’t Don’, ‘Mr Simple’ and ‘Sorry Sorry’ songs. As well as good vocals the lads have vibrant stage presence. SHINee were equally ‘explosive’, Kangta powerful in voice and the highly charismatic TVXQ guys flying in like ‘Gods’ up until the finale. And the lasses, f(x), BoA, GG…win me over. The SMTown movie is mainly a fly-on-a-wall showcase of revealing interviews (the TVXQ lads sometimes getting into ‘arm wrestling’ mode and f(x)’s Amber doing her several physical methods of dealing with the jitters), first time auditions and MSG concert footage. Or instead of perceived regimentally trained K-pop groups, a documentary-movie that’s more a fun SM artist portfolio. The SM crew are being as naturally honest as possible trying to deal with identity and nerves, amidst an overwhelming music/theatre circus that requires their true selves to take a subtler back seat and let ‘group persona’ take over the show (Tae-yeon though worries about her ‘conceit’).

    No doubt intense hard work and unadulterated fun here (= joy theoretically), but made to seem simple; the cute audition footage, long hour rehearsals, albums, MVs, advertising, all leading up to this SMTown mega concert milestone. It’s a great achievement and if SM members auditioning selves realised then their coming achievements, they’d scream in unison in disbelief. Interesting Leeanna, mentioning the over loud sound. Certain recent pop concerts can be very loud, but not in a good way. (‘Just seen Girls’ Generation?!’ reply with hand towards ear ‘You wot!?’) The ideal sound (for me) was the Birmingham Symphony Hall’s PA/acoustics where I saw Yes on their ‘Open Your Eyes’ tour - pure sonic bliss and not distortedly loud at all. No matter, all who attended SMTown’s MSG concert surely loved ever minute! And that’s the key, ride the beam of cosmic love, sooth and cure the cynical heart, spread positive energy, keep the spirit high and share open hearted love (and be careful with your ears).

     Purchasing the correct DVD format for Zone 1 Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
    I purchased the same DVD that was made for Zone 3 even though I live in Zone 1. It didn't work in the U.S. so I had to mail everything back. I'm planning on getting the one that is made for Zone 1. I was at this concert in NY and it was awsome!! Even though the music was blasting way too loud, luckly I had earplugs. After the concert was over after 4 long hours, I chased their tour bus down the street for 3 whole blocks in NY right outside of Madison Square Garden. It was a night that I will never forget :) <3

     Is this also 4 disc version? Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
    I am about to buy this blu ray. But, just wandering what is the different this US version with the 4 disc Taiwan version? The description of this version mention it come with I AM Movie as well as the SMTown concert at Madison Square Garden. Does anyone know how many discs in this version?
