YesAsia Editorial Description

Based on a comic by Hur Young Man, whose Tazza and The Grand Chef were also adapted for television in 2008, SBS drama I Love You cheekily explores the trials of romance, marriage, pregnancy, and child-rearing - not necessarily in that order. Appearing in his first drama since 2006's Mr. Goodbye, Korean Wave superstar Ahn Jae Wook (Star in My Heart) forms a newlywed couple with rising star Seo Ji Hye (Over the Rainbow). Pop singer Fany of Fly to the Sky, in his second drama after Over the Rainbow, and Park Hye Young (9 End 2 Outs) make up the second pair of reluctant newlyweds. Biting into serious topics while maintaining a lighthearted tone, I Love You delves into the modern generation's perspective on love and marriage with unexpectedly humorous and insightful revelations.

The last thing Chul Soo (Ahn Jae Wook) wants is to get married, but he can only bite the bullet when Young Hee (Seo Ji Hye) gets pregnant after a one-night stand. Fourteen years younger than her would-be husband, the sincere and naive Young Hee is madly in love with Chul Soo, while he's just looking for a way out. Twenty-something caddish wannabe rocker Byung Ho (Fany) is a divorced single father trying to avoid responsibility and marriage. With the help of sleazy divorce lawyer Min Ho (Gong Hyung Jin, Alone in Love) who's going through marital troubles himself, there may be an escape for these guys, but is that what they're really looking for?

As a Hwanhee Fan Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
As a Hwanhee fan, you get to see him play a very different role from the role he played as Rex in "Over the Rainbow". In "I Love You" or "Saranghae", Hwanhee is a father who tries to stay connected to his son who has been living with his mother since the divorce. Along the way he gets a new women pregnant, and her brothers would love nothing more than to pin him against a wall. However, this new women reaches out to help his relationship with his son and changes him for the better through their roller coaster relationship.

Over all the storyline is not the best, you follow three pairs of couples through their trials and tribulations. It is slow, but if you can hang out till the end you will see everything come full circle to a happy ending.

Boring Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
Good concept, pretty decent actors too, however the plots moved slowly and weren't very entertaining. I stopped watching after 8 or so episodes.
