A woman in love Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Infinite is my favourite Korean boy band, because their style is so unique. Every of their albums had a slightly different, but yet very characteristic style, that makes Infinite stand out from many other kpop bands. So when I heard that they aim for a 'cute' and 'innocent' concept, I was a little bit worried if they could pull it off - without sounding like everyone else.

And they did. The title song "Man in love" gives me [positive] shivers every time I listen to it and makes me really happy. Another song I love is Beautiful - it's simple, but that's exactly what i like about it, besides its heart-warming lyrics. I also enjoy 불편한 진실 (Inconvenient Truth) - which is probably the 'cutest' songs when it comes to the melody.

The color of the packing and photo album are also very nice and fit the concept of the music.

"New Challenge" was definitely a new challenge for Infinite members, but they all did well! It's a nice cute and happy album that still shows Infinite's unique style.

 New Challenge – Infinite Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
The title track “Man In Love” we can instantly tell that this is totally Infinite style. I like how they incorporated the melody “namjaga saranghae deh” as seen in the teasers in the chorus as being catchy but it doesn’t really repetitive. It’s nicely woven into all else that’s happening. All the members of Infinite sounds really vocally good. The backing is mostly synths and electric guitars which is perfect as its not over-the-top epic and comes away at places so it’s not too forceful. It suits the mood of the song. There is a bit before the last chorus repeat where it goes up a key, and there’s like a random synthy dolphin sound. Like wut… Other than that, not much else to say. Awesome title track.

Changing the mood is “Still I Miss You” a pop-ballad. The harmonised chorus is really nice as there is something about the member’s voices that just blend in that way and fill each other out. The verses are a bit slow and uninteresting compared to the chorus in which I do love Woohyun’s belting.The backing is quite simple in the beginning and it gradually builds up into a richer texture by adding more instruments as it goes. I really do like the strings in the chorus and they add to dreamy feeling. A song with highlights and lowlights.

All members are talented at singing or rap or both
Strong title track with promotional potential
Member’s voices blend well
Songs bring out strengths
No overuse of auto-tune or synths

Pianos:

Genre of intro is a far reach
Tracks play to signature style and strengths
Freaky giggle in “Inconvenient Truth”
Unresolved ending to the album.

Verdict:

When I watched the teasers, I was woah this is so cute, I’m not prepared but I think this only applies to the MV. When the members of Infinite sing together as unison in places such as the chorus, they have an interesting blend of voices which is really unique and when you hear it, it’s like oh that’s Infinite. It’s good that Infinite scatters the rap in various places rather than have a rap section, but unfortunately sometimes that means the rap is insignificant to everything that goes round and is often unnoticed. Personally I like “The Chaser” and “Infinitize” more but this is definitely a strong album and I think Infinite will continue to do extremely well in their career.

Nicely packaged, great songs, amazing pictures! It comes with a postcard of a random member and I got Sungyeol! Not my Infinite bias but I'll still take it :D Very satisfied with the product!
