Ip Man goes to America! Donnie Yen and director Wilson Yip's blockbuster Ip Man film series concludes with its fourth and final installment, The Finale. The Wing Chun grandmaster finds a new fighting ground in San Francisco, where he reunites with Bruce Lee, duels with local martial arts masters, and puts racist folks in their places. But there may be fights that even Ip Man can't win as he takes on his greatest challenge as a father. Wu Yue (The Brink), Vanness Wu (Dragon Blade), Kent Cheng and newcomer Vanda Margraf co-star in this stirring conclusion to the Ip Man saga.

In 1964, Ip Man (Donnie Yen) is diagnosed with advanced cancer. His last and greatest worry is his rebellious son (Jim Liu), who has just been expelled from school. At the invitation of his student Bruce Lee (Danny Chan), Ip Man travels to San Francisco to watch Bruce's martial arts exhibition, and to find a school for his son. However, Wan (Wu Yue), the head of the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association, refuses to write the necessary school referral letter for Ip Man, because Bruce Lee has upset the local old guard of martial artists. By chance, Ip Man befriends Wan's daughter (Vanda Margraf), who gets into a fight and sets off a series of retaliatory events. Ip Man comes to the assistance when Immigration cracks down on the Association and an aggressive army instructor challenges the martial arts community.
