Jacky Cheung presents his friends with an excellent, brand new three CD set, which offers a platinum compilation of thirty-eight invaluable hits! All from the Hong Kong live concerts earlier this year. You aren't going to miss it, are you?

This "Jacky 2002-2003 Music Odyssey Grand Finale" CD set presents what an Odyssey should present: You are on board for a wonderful space-time journey cruising from the present back to the past, bathing in the sea of Jacky Cheung's unforgettable, marvelous songs.

Jacky is generally recognized as the most skillful live singer in Hong Kong. It is said that while Hacken Lee's live performance is "flawless", his is "perfect".

Jacky kicks off the Odyssey by delivering such passionate songs as "Corazon de Melao" and "Speak Without Words" from his last English album "Touch of Love", which are the writer of this review's favorites.

Then he goes on with three Mandarin songs from album "Fever", including a strong-beat-marked "It's So Darn Hot" (CD#1-Track 5), Wu Bai flavored "If This Weren't Love" (Track 6) and a dolorous, sorrowful, heart-pricking "I Am So Hurt" (Track 7).

The musical journey continues with several of Jacky's recent hits, which are also the writer of this review's warm recommendations. For example, the gold-award-winning "Sighing with Sickness" (Track 9), the newly remixed, exceedingly exotic "Hide and Seek" (Track 10), alongside with "Heart-breaking" (Track 12), "She Comes for My Concert" (Track 13) and "The Sound Upstairs" (Track 8).

Midway in the concert, Jacky sang marathon-like for at least 9 of his classics, namely the unforgettable "Loves Getting Stronger Each Day" (CD#2-Track 9), "Always Part on Rainy Days" (Track 4), "Li Xiang Lan" (Track 8), "You Are the Best After All" (Track 11), etc., and they are all included on Disc#2!

On this disc, you will also find the bold songs "Messy Hair" (CD#2-Track 1) & "Legend of The Rapacious" (Track 2) and the heart-lightening "Want to Join The Breeze With You" (Track 6). Jacky is particularly absorbed in performing when he sings them.

The only song that probably does not live up to its expectation is "Kiss Me Goodbye" (CD#2-Track 7), of which Jacky chooses the quick tempo version from album "Jacky Cheung 15". As a matter of fact, this version has completely damaged the fans' good impression of the song.

Almost every song from Disc#3 was a No.1 song of Jacky's! Every song on this disc is simply known by one and all, with such household names as "Far-Away Her" (CD#3-Track 4), "Your Name With My Surname" (Track 9), "One Life, One Love" (Track 5), "Love Letter" (Track 1), "Snares of Love" (Track 13) and "After You Leave" (Track 4). You are best advised not to miss out on this treat!

What makes Jacky's live performance so phenomenal and so electrifying is that not only can he adjust, but also fine-tune his way of performance on every single song in every different live performance to perfection, which makes the same songs sound so magically different, but perfect, every time!
