嵐、通算 14 枚目となるオリジナルアルバムのタイトルは 「Japonism（ジャポニズム）」。彼らが生まれ育った、そしてアーティスト活動を通じて、見聞きし触れ感じてきた“日本”へ、15 周年を終えまた新たな一歩を踏み出すために、そしてさらにその先を見据えて、今だからこその思いを込めた極上のエンタテインメント作品。

デジタル×ヒューマンの融合をコンセプトに、高い完成度のクオリティをアルバム～コンサート通じて披露した前作「THE DIGITALIAN」から１年。さらなる進化をし続けるために、今一度、自分たちのいる日本を見直し、そして嵐を見直す。そして見直せば見直すほど自然と日本へのありがとうの気持ちが湧いてくる、“日本＝感謝”がテーマのニューアルバム。

今作の「Japonism」というタイトルには、日本をさまざまな角度から見るというコンセプトが込められており、リード曲の１曲にはロンドンを拠点に活動する布袋寅泰氏が作詞・作曲・アレンジを手掛けた「タイトル未定A」や、ジャパニーズ・ポップス、ファンクに和楽器とデジタルを融合させるなどバラエティに富んだアルバムオリジナルの楽曲をソロ曲も含めて 14曲収録。この11月～12月にかけて敢行される全国5大ドームツアーでの演出とパフォーマンスにも期待が高まる楽曲群に今年前半の大ヒットシングル「Sakura」「青空の下、キミのとなり」の 2曲も加えた全16曲を収録。（＊9 月 2 日発売のシングル曲「愛を叫べ」は収録されておりません）

There are many great songs in this album. The hit song "Kokoro no sora" is just like THE "Japonism". The song uses drums and other traditional Japanese music instruments with guitar to make it sounds like Asian music but a little bit "western music" at the same time. "Miyabi-night", "Japonesque" are also in traditional Japanese style. My most favorite song in the album is Ohno-san's solo "Akatsuki". It sounds different from his previous solo, but still, he has such a good voice!!

Strongly recommend this album to those who are not Arashi's fan :))
