A bit disapointing...
This song is just ok I reckon.. with a title like "killing Me" you kinda expect something that really ROCKS!! .. but except from the fact that the pace is quite fast.. there's somthing to be exited about aye =/ . . .
The " Round n Round 05 " is pretty good ..its much heavier but has that western music feeling to it with guitar riffs and melodies that you probably think you heard somewhere before. =/ Overall, this cd is just alright... if you re a Laruku hardcore fan get it if you're not it's not really worth your money. |

A superb start of the year with L'Arc
L'Arc~en~Ciel's first single in 2005, "Killing Me" is also the ending theme to Matthew's Best Hit TV. The sound is very typical of Laruku, and with hyde being the composer of this song, it proves to be a solid rock hit! The drumbeat from yuki is totally awesome, tetsu's bass provides the necessary rock sound, and ken's guitar solo just blows the song away!
"Round and Round 2005", the second c/w from the alter-ego band P'UNK~EN~CIEL definitely shakes things up from the original song in their 1996 album True. Although tetsu's vocals aren't very strong at times, the feel of the song totally makes up for it, with it being able to match the title track itself in terms of greatness. The third track features P'UNK Aoki of Aoki Sayaka from the music show Music Fighter. Her additions to the songs makes it either enjoyable (it's quite a laugh) or annoying to the listener. Either way, it's an interesting mix between P'UNK and Aoki. The first single of 2005 is off to an awesome start, and it's obvious that Laruku never disappoints! |

I Love [Round and Round 2005]
The new version of [Round and Round] by [P'unk~En~Ciel] is Rockin' I Love it. It has more punk rock feeling to it. I Love the way KEN plays the drum, full of power. |
