YesAsia Editorial Description

Follow Lau Ching Wan and Louis Koo on a hilarious quest for the perfect bra! Co-starring Carina Lau and Gigi Leung, La Brassiere is arguably the most successful film from the creative partnership forged by co-director Patrick Leung and writer-director Chan Hing Ka, who followed the 2001 romantic comedy blockbuster with the popular sequel Mighty Baby a year later. The story takes place in an international bra company, which has initiated a groundbreaking project to introduce a line of lingerie products envisioned by male designers. In response, the Hong Kong branch's CEO Samantha (Carina Lau) hires Johnny (Lau Ching Wan) and Wayne (Louis Koo) to lead the new venture to design the ultimate bra, a decision that doesn't sit well with senior designer Lena (Gigi Leung). Clueless about women's true needs, the two macho men screw up their mission badly, necessitating the intervention of Lena and Samantha...

What a magnificent film (without Carina Lau that i Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I thought this was an awesome film and the plot was pretty well plotted. However, I didn't the fact that Carina Lau was in it. She looks way too old to be in a film called "La Brassiere" with all those young ladies. She's a complete misfit. On the other hand, Gigi Leung and Louis Koo looked absolutely astonishing.

Hooray, decent Hong Kong comedies does actually ex Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
For once I have seen a decent Hong Kong comedy that was funny for a change(yes it is true, alot of Hong Kong films which are classified as ''comedy'' are not funny but are just plain rediculous) but let me assure you that this is quite a funny film especially with its unusual concept.

If only Gigi wasn't in it. Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
I'm a big fan of Louis and love him in every movie and series. But I was kinda disappointed. He was kinda good but the story is weak. Plus, there's the annoying Gigi. Someone who doesn't need to wear a bra and doesn't have any sexual appeal. I thought Carina was the best. Her character is perfect for her. This movie could have been better but I really don't see how cause the story isn't really good.
