Ekin Cheng leads an underdog youth dodgeball team in the Hong Kong sports drama Life Must Go On! Written and directed by Ying Chi Wen (Everything Under Control), the inspirational sports comedy stars Ekin Cheng as a coach and Catherine Chau (The Menu) as a youth outreach social worker. Gladys Li, Isabella Chang, Chung Suet Ying, Cloud Wan, Feanna Wong, Viann Li, Ocean Wong and Sany Song form the team of delinquent girls who take on the challenge of competitive dodgeball.

Social worker Yanki (Catherine Chau) is in charge of a "Midnight Gymnasium" program that allows girls who don't want to go home to have a safe place to exercise in the early hours. However, due to sudden management changes, the gymnasium is in danger of being shut down. In order to keep the program running, Yanki and new coach Jones (Ekin Cheng) assemble a hodgepodge team of troubled and troublesome teenage girls to participate in the Hong Kong Dodgeball Championship. The only way to keep the gymnasium is to work together and win!
