The song that gave her the recognition
Koochan's popularity was starting to grow, but what made her known to even more people was the song "Cutie Honey" for the live action movie of the same name. The CD and CD+DVD have tracklists that are almost identical for the CD portion, but this edition has the "short version" of the "Theme of Sister Jil," while the CD only version has the "LOVE & HONEY" version of the song (the full version).
"Cutie Honey" is a fun and upbeat song with a catchy beat and even catchier chorus. The video is cute and Koda Kumi's 70's style outfit is a very adorable visual. While the song is repetative, it's that reason why it's always in your head. Now, I normally like the original songs more, but Koda Kumi's version to this song is so much better. That sounds awful, I know. But even long-time fans of the show say that Koochan's version was better.
Then comes the "Theme of Sister Jil," which is a relaxing song, but nothing too memorable. Really, the intro will probably be the only thing that you'll have in your head on ocassion. The song's not bad, but with the other songs, it's completely overshadowed.
"Yogiri no HONEY" is a beautiful jazz/pop ballad and Koochan's voice has that soft element that she really only pulls out during jazz numbers. However, this is one of the songs I'll say that I do like the original more, but Kuu's is a very close second. The chorus is addicting and there are many times that I feel Koda Kumi's voice is more suitable to the song (is that odd?).
Then comes the last song before the instrumentals: "Into Your Heart"!! The fun, upbeat, electronic song that is a great clubbing song! Most of the time, I find I enjoy this song more than the a-side! It's fun and addicting! "You and I kawaranaide zutto rugamama ni ikite yukeru anata ga soko ni!"
This is a great single and the artwork is beautiful. Koochan starts maturing around this time, but, as you will find out, she is still a young artist. Which is great, because she has so much fun with it. Whether you're a Koda Kumi fan or a fan of "Cutie Honey," this is a great single to pick up.

The unofficial OST to 'Cutie Honey'
"Love and Honey" is the "unofficial" soundtrack to the live-action "Cutie Honey" film. The title track is jazzy, light-hearted, and lots of fun. Ku sounds so flirtatious! "The Theme of Sister Jill" is sung in English. The version found on the CD/DVD release has two flaws: 1) It sounds too much like a Christmas carol, and 2) it's edited. (You can find the full version of the song on the CD-only version.) "Yogiri no Honey" reprises the jazzy flavor from the first track. "Into Your Heart" is a mid-tempo track that tries to be a club anthem, but doesn't quite cut it.
The PV of "Cutie Honey" is fast-paced and energetic. Love Ku's pink highlights! One quibble: What's up with that sleazy dance scene? It comes from nowhere and is completely unnecessary.

Awesome single! This is an excellent CD, perfect for parties. With upbeat songs like Cutie Honey and Into your Heart, it's just impossible not to love this single.

Okay.. I don't know what to say. "Cutie Honey", the first track of the CD is quite unique. The lyrics keep repeating itself, (sigh). The music is quite irritating at first but after listening it to it for a couple of times, I start to get a hang of it. It's not bad. If you hate it, you'll hate it forever. But if you like it, then you'll like it forever. It's quite upbeat and quite cute in a sense. Her voice is amazing. It's a typical Kumi song.

I heard this song I love it so much. It's really cool and catchy. It has a fast beat and I already preordred it. Love the Cover as well.
