BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I've been a fan of Ayu's for a few years now and when coming across this album, I say it was exceptationally well done! Words cannot describe how alluring this album is. The tracks here are lot more sophisticated and mature than other works I've come across from her. But more than anything, the album speaks for itself. Even after twelve years in the music business, She still has the talent to create beautiful pieces of work for her audience. Not many artists can still do that. But Ayumi-san is different--she's a true artist.
Out of all her new works, I have to say that this is my most favorite one. "Love Songs" was a remarkable change. It had a softer, more romantic vibe to it. Completely differnt from anything she's done before. I love this album. There's not a single song I dislike, but the ones that stood out to me the most were: "Love Song" "Moon" "Aria" "Virgin Road" "Like a Doll" "Crossroad" "Sending Mail" "Last Angel" "Sweet Season" "Blossom" "Do It Again" and finally "Seven Days War".
Although it wasn't a patch of romantic ballads stitched together, I still can say that this was her most organized work. I just loved the classical feel to it. And of course, the artwork was absolutely stunning! I loved flipping through the pages. It was like each of the art & backgrounds were capturing just how beautiful Miss Hamasaki was! I loved that!
To all Ayumi fans: if you're looking for refreshing music, I recommend this album proudly! To me, it's Ayumi's best works she's done in a few years! I mean, don't get me wrong, all of Ayumi's albums are flawless but this one takes the cake!

Ayu did it again! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Another great and solid album with only ballads and pop love songs! Sure, if you think to find rock and dance here, it's not the album for you but it's a very good concept album. It's absolutely not boring, all the songs have a catchy melody.

Better Than RnRC Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
So instead of continuing on the path of her previous album, Rock n Roll circus, which had a heavy rock vibe to it, Ayu did what she does best, she completely( Or almost completely) reinvented herself and went in a totally different direction. Love Songs has a softer, more romantic vibe to it, and while some songs still have rock influences and/or roots (AKA Moon, blossom, Crossroads, Love Songs, Seven Days War and Sweet Season) most of the music you will hear on this album is influenced by wetsern classical music, which is expertly woven into Ayu's signiture pop/rock style. Many of the songs on here get their roots from the English Victorian era,(Like A Doll is probably the best example of this) linking RnRC's last British theme to this album. The only exceptions to this would be Crossroads which has an obvious celtic influence, Sweet Season which has a country tinge to it and Sending Mail which seems to add just a dash of....Spanish? Maybe? However the Victorian era music is the only link to RnRC. While some songs may hold similarities to some of her previous works(the biggest examples here being Moon in it's lyrics, Love Songs reminds me musically a little of M, Virgin Road reminds me musically a little of carols.) most of everything you hear on this album is completely different from anything she's done before. Even the photos for the booklet are totally different featuring Ayu in some lovely white and pink dresses in a stone cottage setting with wild climbing roses all over the walls. Also unlike RnRC, which didn't impress me much with it's b-sides, you really get the feel that Love Songs is all about the b-sides and the interludes are probably her best ever.
The PVs are all really entertaining too. The Love Song/Last Angel/Virgin Road PV combo acts like Glitter/fated did for the GUILTY album with the mini movie DISTANCE LOVE. At first it might be dificult for some people to figure out everything that goes on between the Love Songs and Last Angel PVS but boy does it make you want to watch them over and over again until you do get it.
This is a must buy for all and any fans of Ayumi Hamasaki. And if you are like me and have limited income and can only choose one of the two albums Ayu released in 2010 then I would advise you to pick this one over Rock n Roll circus anyday.
Favorite songs would have to be: Love Song, Like A Doll, Virgin Road, Sending Mail, Seven Days War and November.
