Following impressive turns in The 3rd Hospital and Dating Agency: Cyrano, Girl's Generation member Choi Soo Young seals her leading lady status in the 2014 MBC romantic melodrama My Spring Days (a.k.a. The Spring Day of My Life). Co-starring Gam Woo Sung in his first romantic TV series since 2006's Alone in Love, the moving drama follows the relationship between a young woman who received a heart transplant and the husband of her heart donor.
Blessed with a second chance for life after receiving a heart transplant, Lee Bom Yi (Choi Soo Young) strives to live each day to her fullest as her way of thanking the donor. By chance, she meets Kang Dong Ha (Gam Woo Sung), a widowed father with two children, and finds herself drawn to him. Dong Ha, meanwhile, can't help seeing aspects of his beloved late wife in Bom Yi. The two grow closer and closer, not knowing that Bom Yi's heart donor was Dong Ha's wife.
