S.M. THE BALLAD Vol. 2 - Breath (Korean Version)1 people found this review helpful
April 5, 2014 It's OK
- two songs that I will love hear in my headphones (Blind (both versions Chinese and Korean, they are like two different songs) and A Day Without You)
- two songs that I will be OK with playing on my playlist on a random mode (Breath and Set Me Free)
- one song that I prefer to not listen anymore (When I Was ... When U Were)
- one instrumental ...
Overall it's OK.
The booklet's art is kinda empty. I like the concept but I want more of it.
Old If Not Wild (China Version)March 14, 2014 A photobook with a music CD
Other than music I was really impressed by the style of the album. It's basically a photobook that goes with a music CD.
The album really looks just like a book. While I was unpacking it I was wondering if there was really a CD in there. Photobook is interesting. Beautiful photos, beautiful Li Yu Chun, unusual design which remarkably fits to the music on CD. The feeling of one piece is overwhelming. I mean there are albums that have nice music, nice album design, but you wouldn't guess that they belong together. It's different with this album.
Music itself is amazing of course. I knew what music I was buying so I didn't expect any surprises. To me it's kinda music of freedom, inspiration. It gives you that feeling that you can do everything you want in any way you want.
Hero (Japan Version)January 28, 2014 Loved it
I didn't hear most of the songs in Japanese versions. Some of them even sound better to me in Japanese. That surprised me. Sexy Free and Single, Mr. Simple Japanese ver. appeal to me even more that the original Korean ver. A-CHA is very funny in Japanese though.
Loved new songs: Bambina, Tuxedo, Way and Hero of course. My personal favorite is Tuxedo.

January 12, 2014 Impressed
The best use of my money lately.
It was my first KPOP photobook and I didn't know what to expect. I guess I expected much less in size, quality, content. My first impression was "Wow. Big." Fine paper. High contrast style photos I love so much! Printing ink smell.
Every member has equal space in the book. Lots of fun images.
Love the way photos are combined on double-page spreads.
DVD shows that there must be much more photos than printed though.
