Lau Bing comes from his home village to look for his uncle, Lau Wong-ma. There he meets the "Impoverished Ten": his uncle is the first; Chan Fook-shui, his son Stupid Chung who likes wandering in the streets and his gluttonous daughter Fat Ha; Pico Kat, a lustful winebibber; drug-addict Chuen; an qualified lawyer Master Melon; gambler Chau Yat-kwong; playboy Wonder Ping; and the "sleeping beauty" Mona, a prostitute. Lau Bing saves the General Manager of a factory from robbery and is therefore hired to work there. Chau Yat-kwong bribes "god of wealth" with Mona's beauty. He and his peer group win a lot of money at the casino and Wonder Ping takes them to a night-club where they have a great time with the club-girls. When Lau Bing and Mona get married, the General Manger of the factory attends the banquet and announces that he is expanding his business and would like to employ the "Impoverished Ten" to work for him. Everybody accepts the employment but Wonder Ping. Seven pregnant women suddenly show up and ask for Wonder Ping. They are looking for the father of their children - the babies are all Wonder Ping's! Wonder Ping falls into a ditch while being chased and everybody laughs.
