Directed by Ip Man: The Final Fight producer Checkley Sin, Our Days in 6E focuses on the experiences of minority students in Hong Kong. The film is set at a school where the majority of students are South Asian. It's also attended by recent mainland Chinese immigrants and local students of relatively poor academic performance. Because of cultural differences, academic and social pressures, and limited resources, conflicts are common at the school, and both the students and teachers are constantly in a state of tension. Enthusiastic teachers Park Sir (Eric Suen) and Miss Law (Lemon Yip), however, are determined to turn around the notorious 6E class of trouble students. To promote a sense of belonging to the school and increase cooperation and understanding between students of different backgrounds, they decide to have class 6E participate in an inter-school talent competition.

電影講述香港有一所另類的「國際學校」，大部分學生以南亞裔為主，亦包括內地新移民及成績操行較差的本地學生。正是因為學生的文化差異、思想和觀念的不同，導致他們衝突連連，加上教學支援不足等惡劣條件，令學校師生間氣氛長期處在緊張狀態，校長和教師心疲力竭。

Park Sir（孫耀威　飾）及 Miss Law（葉芷如　飾）滿腔熱誠，決意把校內有名的6E班「麻煩學生」教好，令他們對學校的歸屬感提升，增加對社會的投入度。藉著校際才藝大賽，希望讓6E班的同學能通過團體合作變得更團結，培養他們之間的默契，打破學生之間的種族隔膜。在進行練習期間，幾個學生的家庭問題陸續浮現。首先是父母雙亡，一直未走出陰影的小崗（阮頌揚　飾），與他相依為命的祖母不幸中風，他出於孝心想退學出來工作賺錢養家；接著就是 JJ（陳欣妍　飾），因為缺乏家庭溫暖而鑽牛角尖自殺，幸好及時獲救，死裡逃生的 JJ 一夜長大，明白需要珍惜身邊的一切；尼泊爾籍學生 Nara（彭志偉　飾），他的表哥跟黑幫走在一起幹不法勾當，被黑幫追殺而死，亦令 Nara 牽涉在內，更差點遭受牢獄之災；而巴基斯坦籍學生 Sab（喬加雲　飾）因為父母逼婚而離家出走，差點被騙成為娼妓……

面對各學生的特殊情況，Park Sir 及 Miss Law 等人焦急無奈，決定使用非一般的手段，努力協助學生解決問題。
