《香水》由德國小說家徐四金的同名暢銷小說改編，耗資五千萬歐元（約合二十一億新台幣）為德國影史上斥資最巨的電影，由《蘿拉快跑》、《公主與戰士》德國導演湯姆提克威（Tom Tykwer）執導，並邀請到金獎影帝達斯汀霍夫曼等歐美一流演員合演，潛力新秀班維蕭飾演片中主角葛奴乙表現更是可圈可點。
