New-generation stars Wang Bo Chieh (Winds of September) and Kirsten Ren (In A Good Way) lead the cast of this underdog cooking tale with a distinctly local flavor.

Chi Ming (Wang Bo Chieh) runs off with his daughter after losing a custody battle with his late wife's father. Through a series of happenstances, they end up at the home of Chi Bao (Kirsten Ren) and her grandmother (Lu Yi Ching), who hail from a clan renowned for cooking. When Chi Ming comes upon the Chiang family's legendary long-lost recipe book, it turns into an opportunity for him to redeem himself and prove his worth as a father. With their plentiful heart and fledgling cooking skills, Chi Ming, Chi Bao and her ragtag friends set out to open a restaurant using the ancient Chiang family recipes.

都是孤兒出身的姜七寶五人，對吳志明的女兒樂樂(許萱樂飾)疼愛有加，在樂樂常受到父親責罵冷落下，而與吳志明經常刀叉相向！原來樂樂的外公是個德高望重的大廚師，他的掌上明珠嫁給吳志明之後，卻因過勞而病逝，樂樂外公在不諒解的狀況下爭取樂樂監護權。吳志明要怎麼挽回樂樂的心重新再當一個好爸爸？姜七寶又要如何展開他們的料理人生？他們能夠靠自己的力量來開餐廳、找到舌尖上感動的美味關鍵嗎？
