One of Japanese cinema's most successful film franchises of the past decade, Otomi Keishi's blockbuster live-action Rurouni Kenshin series began in 2012 with the same-titled film introducing Satoh Takeru as the wandering former assassin during the early Meiji period. The period action-adventure based on Watsuki Nobuhiro's popular manga went on to spawn four more feature films, on the way redefining standards for both live-action manga adaptations and Japanese action films. Rurouni Kenshin was followed in 2016 with the fiery two-part sequel. Kyoto Inferno and The Legend Ends, based on the Kyoto Arc of the manga. In the summer of 2021, two films arrived for its final chapter, Rurouni Kenshin: The Final and Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning, which draw on the Tsuioku Arc and the final Jinchu Arc to reveal the finale and origins of the pacifist vagabond with a cross-shaped scar and reverse-blade sword.

The Rurouni Kenshin Perfect Box comes with all five films on Blu-ray plus nine bonus discs of special features. The boxset includes:
