Enter the dark and dirty world of paparazzi photographers in Scoop!, based on Harada Masato's 1985 classic Indecent Exposure. Directed by One Hitoshi (Bakuman), the film partners popular actor-singer Fukuyama Masaharu (Like Father, Like Son) with rising actress Nikaido Fumi (Bitter Honey) as the veteran-rookie tag team of a weekly tabloid.
Photographer Miyakonojo Shizuka (Fukuyama Masaharu) had many legendary scoops in his time, but that's all in the past. He lost his passion for news journalism after a certain incident, and switched to paparazzi work years ago. His editor suddenly partners him with newbie reporter Namekawa Nobi (Nikaido Fumi), and he initiates her into the sleazy tricks of the trade. However, the scandal-chasing turns dangerous when they come upon a big scoop.
