앨범명 ‘NARCISSUS(나르키소스)’에서 알 수 있듯 이번 앨범은 SF9의 내면에 깃든 자기애를 주제로 한다. 그리스 신화에 나오는 아름다운 청년 나르키소스처럼 거울 속에 비친 나 자신에게 "지금도 충분히 예쁘니 더 예뻐지지 말라”고 말하는 나르시시즘 요소를 담고 있다.
