Winner of Best Screenplay at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards, writer-director Jason Yu's feature debut Sleep stars Jung Yu Mi (Wonderland) and Lee Sun Kyun (Parasite) as newlyweds in a horror mystery thriller setting. Jung Yu Mi was named Best Actress at the 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards and the Korean Film Producers Association Awards 2023 for her performance in the black comedy, which premiered in the Critics' Week section at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.

Soo Jin (Jung Yu Mi) and Hyun Soo (Lee Sun Kyun) share their married life happily. One night, Soo Jin finds Hyun Soo muttering strange words while sleeping next to her. From that day on, he turns into a different person when he falls asleep, but he doesn't remember any of it when awake. Soo Jin cannot fall asleep because of the fear that he will hurt their family. Despite receiving treatment, Hyun Soo's abnormal sleepwalking behavior becomes more severe, putting their soon-to-be-born child in danger.

[ストーリー]
目覚めだす——／出産を控え、幸せな結婚生活を送るヒョンスとスジン。ある夜、隣で眠る夫ヒョンスが突然起き上がり「誰か入ってきた」と呟いた。その呟きに呼応するように家を覆い尽くす不穏な気配…。翌朝、下の階に越してきた住人から「明け方の騒音が１週間も続いて、我慢できない」と相談をされるも全く身に覚えがなかった。少しの違和感を抱きながらも夜を迎えたその日から、眠りにつく度にヒョンスは人が変わってしまったかのように奇行を繰り返す。頬を掻きむしる。生魚を丸呑みする。窓から身を乗り出す。その異常行動は日を追う毎にエスカレートしていく。得体の知れない“それ”に恐怖を感じ、怯えながら夜を過ごす夫婦は睡眠クリニックの受診を決意するが、スジンは母から超自然的な力に頼るべきだと、巫女から手に入れた御札を渡される。果たして“それ”は医学で克服できるものなのか、それともー。
