Directed by Yoo Young Seon, A Child Who Would Not Come is part of the Strange School Tales series of horror stories. Soo Ah goes to a rural school as a trainee teacher, and notices that a student named Young Seok is always absent from class. Furthermore, his name is never called during roll call, and none of the students mention him. During a home visit, Soo Ah asks Young Seok to return to school, but then strange things start happening in the class. It turns out that classmates who were nice to Young Seok have experienced terrifying traumas. Soo Ah herself also experiences this as she recalls the darkness of her school days.
