The album comesina box which is not quite A4 but still pretty big, and my first impression was that it reminded me of Christmas gift. Especially when you open the box and you see the photobook in all the Xmas colours....a very Wintery album indeed! The photobook had really nice quality pictures and lyrics. As to the music, the first track is just instrumental although it does give it the whole wintery/xmas feel. Of his songs, I have to say that none really jumped out to me at first, but it gets better after a few listens.

October 17, 2013 Great mini album :)Overall I was really impressed with this mini album. All the songs are really great - my favourites would have to be Try Again and Falling Star as they are both very upbeat songs and somewhat inspirational. In terms of the packaging, it is pretty standard (similar to their previous mini albums), except the booklet in this one doesn't have any lyrics (odd?). As with the packaging, it comes in a box with a plastic cover, and the album includes a nice photobook and also a paper photoframe where you can interchange different pictures of the members in it, which i thought was a nice addition. Also included was a photocard of one of the members. Overall a nice package. Guess the only down side was that they didn't really have too many songs on the album (if you don't count the intro as a song), so it felt more like I was buying a mini album rather than a full length album. May 11, 2013 Great!This is another solid album by JJ Lin, and marks his 10th anniversary - and you can see the effort that he puts into this album to really personalize it. Some of the standout tracks include 'Aeroplane' (a simple yet memorable duet with his brother), 'Dark Knight' (for fans of Mayday), and Mr Baroque/One Shot - where Leehom's violin melody really brings an extra dimension to the music. He also has a few upbeat songs such as 'Somebody' which talks about how rumours spread in the industry, and some inspirational songs such as 'Sunrise' and 'Future tense'. Fans should also remember to wait for the 32seconds after Track 11 (if you have seen his radio interview you will know what I mean....!) Overall another album that does not disappoint! At first, I only watched it because it was produced by Jacky Chan, and because I've previously watched Jacky Chan's movie version, but this drama version is quite different and definitely a lot more exciting...!
Despite being 50 episodes long, the plot actually moves along quite fast (unlike a lot of other chinese dramas....), and it really keeps you hooked on to the story right till the very end. It's also quite a bit different in that it talks about how a modern guy travels back in time to the Qin dynasty, making it the not-so-typical martial arts period drama. The kungfu, battle scenes and the backdrop of the drama were all very well done and very realistic. As a plus, the historical plot of the drama actually follows the true history of the downfall of the Qin dynasty quite well.
The acting was very good as well. This is also probably the best drama that I've watched Hu ge in, because it really shows how his character matures throughout the drama (and thus, you get to see the cute/cheeky side of Hu ge and also his mature side at the end).
With regards to the quality of the product, the DVD quality is really quite good (there was a slight 2sec glitch in one of my discs but apart from that it was all good). Also, this version comes in a nice box set which includesj a calander as well (with the pictures of the cast).
Overall, it's a drama that I would definitely watch more than once, and I highly recommend it to everyone.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

(1)Our Price: US$39.49Usually ships within 7 to 14 daysRelated promotions:June 29, 2008 Wonderful!This was the first AAA concert that I've ever watched, and I must say it is very good! I'm impressed with their live singing especially with the amount of dancing they had to do at the same time.
The most memorable part would have to be their opening, where they appear in face masks - the costumes were very interesting. They also have a skit in the middle of the concert, which I really liked as the music went well with the storyline, and they didn't use any difficult japanese so I was able to understand (most) of it.
Another highlight of the concert was when they sang 'Kirei na sora', the slow version. It was extremely beautiful and soulful - very nice twist to the original song.
Overall I highly recommend this concert to everyone. The only thing is that it'd be great if they had subtitles on, so that we could understand what they're saying for the ments and thankyous, etc....Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

Since I have only recently become a fan of them, it was really good to be able to get a compilation album like this, and it was also interesting to watch how they have changed ever since their first debut (they change a lot through the video clips).

(1)Our Price: US$38.49Related promotions:June 29, 2008 Great!At first I was a bit surprised about the style of the songs that they sang in this album, because it's all very hip-hop/dance like type music...a little bit different from their usual style. However the songs are very catchy, and I like how I can hear more of the voices of the other members, especially in 'Zapper' and 'Bet'. My favourite song would probably have to be 'Akirerukurai Wagamamana Jiyuu' (Track 6) - it's such a beautiful ballad.
The highlight of this edition is probably the DVD, which has the miniconcert where the boys perform most of the songs from the album and some of their past hits. It's interesting to see some of the new dance routines and Chibbiko AAA are sooo cute!

April 20, 2008 Great album ^^Overall, this is an excellent debut album for the girls. All of the songs are quite catchy...my favourite song would probably have to be the title track 'Girls Generation' - it's just so boppy. They also have some nice ballads included as well. The last two tracks (track 13+14 "Let's go SNSD") is really just a medley, with (what seems to be a direct cut) of some of the more popular tracks being strung together. April 20, 2008 Impressed!I absolutely love every song on this album, not only because the style is a bit different from the typical pop (I think she's more rock-pop...), but also because of Younha's voice - it's strong but she can also make it sound gentle and beautiful in her more ballad-y tracks. March 23, 2008 Not BadOverall this album was pretty good. Some stand-out songs included the theme songs for Romantic Princess and X-family, and also the duet feat. March 23, 2008 Good Effort!
Overall, this album is pretty good. I really like his title track 'Love song' - it's very catchy. I also like how he tried to talk about global warming in one of his tracks. I think his music is the type that you have to listen to quite a few times to get into the feel of it. Compared to his other albums I probably still like his 2nd album the best. I also really like 'Bambina' - it has a bit of a techno dance feel to it, and I absolutely love Tegoshi's voicals in it.

For his debut album, I have to say Raymond did a pretty good job. I love every song on his album, esp tracks 1 and 3. As for the packaging, it would have been better if it wasn't just cardboard.
