‘Can we love’는 사랑스러운 느낌의 미디움템포 pop댄스 곡이다. 오랜만에 들을수 있는 티아라 멤버들의 수줍고 귀여운 랩핑과 이단옆차기의 피처링으로 사랑하는 두 연인의 달콤한 속삭임을 감미롭게 노래한다.

On the Actual Product Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I noticed that the reviews here were about the actual execution and opinion about their debut track (which is all good), but I also wanted to bring up the actual physical album for those who are curious.

IMO, CCM usually pumps out really attractive physical albums for the girls. T-ARA N4's debut album is no different. It comes in a nice & sturdy, attractive looking box and it isn't flimsy by any means. If anyone has bought TaeTiSeo's album, it's really similar. Kinda feels like they should charge a little more for this album tbh. Open it, and you will get a stackful of postcard-sized cards with pics front and back. Overall, I thought this was absolutely worth it beyond a digital iTunes purchase. T-ARA fans, you won't be disappointed! Let's support the girls!

Division Belles from the T-ara pack Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Together T-ara stand or divided perform in subunits or as individual bunnies (well, on separate Bunny Style CDs anyway), but T-ara as a whole or as two split subunits indicate its business promoting as usual, irrespective of past ‘misdemeanours’. To some it seems a surprise or even wrong T-ara still promotes, but that’s what pop management and T-ara normally do. Still T-ara members have to tow the line, certainly work hard promoting, get injuries on tour, have time taxing schedules and get stressful – just like many others. But T-ara shouldn’t have to keep hanging heads in satirical shame, as if a few trivial wrongs should demand penitence on permanent loop. But sceptical of having my head filled by media induced theatre, my imaginative version of T-ara’s ‘scandal’ can only be a figment of imagination, I prefer to leave T-ara’s ‘scandalous’ playlet alone and wish T-ara more positive future blessings. For Tara N4’s ‘Countryside Life’ it could be a positive fresh approach, but although not a bad song, this satirical and untimely lyric implies a proverbial finger up to ‘haters’ about the ‘scandal’, which could relay misunderstood feelings and alienate people by T-ara N4’s bold personas and pseudo power attitude. T-ara N4 characters show a 'don’t really care' derision vibe and a ‘why are you hating?’ mordant mantra faded into a radio static background messaging to nietizens ‘out there' with mistrust and uncertainty. In a way a little bit Pink Floyd’s ‘What do you want from me’ concerning fan demands, but N4’s partial nonchalance is somewhat provocative. Is this a song only for the cyber bully crew? Probably not or T-ara’s personal judgements either.

Still, ‘CL’ is an amusing skit and shouldn’t be taken too seriously, and I prefer T-ara to be happy bunnies than oppressed over misconstrued ‘bullying’ nonsense. But T-ara N4’s ‘party over evergreen’ song provokes the ‘scandal’ satire - the next manufactured episode? Hopefully the radio dial will tune onto a different and more loving station next Project N4 release. Anyway Eun-jung, Hyo-min, Ji-yeon and Areum seem to enjoy it all ^^. ‘Countryside Life’ is more an electronic dance than anything Epik High, but its jazzy classical chorus fares it well. Box packaging includes a generous set of double-sided printed postcards, a colourful bunch of T-ara N4 promo pictures and as a package it’s very good. (Albert - for Mass Effect, I’d have to ask Agent York from PS3 game Deadly Premonition about that…lol ;)

Not N7, but a good start for T-ara's sub-unit Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
This is the first production from the well-hyped sub-unit of T-ara, T-ara N4. There's a lot going on here, from a new music style and concept to the odd theme and questionable lyrics to the members themselves. Like the Mass Effect military ranking reference in the review title, T-ara N4's 'Countryside Diary' isn’t the smash hit that "Roly Poly" was but is a good starting point for the sub-unit into the hip-hop realm of K-pop.

"Countryside Diary” pays homage to the longest-running show on the Korean station MBC, and while the majority of the lyrics have little to do with the show, it uses the show's name as the basis of the rest of the song's theme. The lyrics revolve around being strong-willed, independent, and perhaps even a little arrogant, all the while pointing fingers at leaving the stale 'countryside life'. A strong hip-hop beat carries the song forward but there's enough pop infused in it so that it's still clearly a T-ara dance song. For long-time listeners of the band, it’s an experiment of sorts ¬¬¬¬¬– the rap portion featuring boy-band SPEED is reminiscent of "TTL", but the sad romance theme has been replaced by a lighter, more energetic party element. Though my favorite part is the melodic buildup in the ultimatum “To the countryside life…”, the chorus devolves into the hook phrase 'ting-a-ting-a-ling', which personally sounds like it was written to fit the dance rather than the other way around. The real thing that will raise eyebrows, however, is the dubious phrase 'why you hating' repeated over and over in the latter half of the song. On the one hand, listeners might see it as simply a part of the lyrics, where the singers are defending their independent spirit. On the other hand, those who remember the Hwayoung controversy and the fan split will clearly see through the subliminal message firing back at critics.

The supporting track "Can We Love?" is more like the familiar American rap/hip-hop songs of the '90s, with a slower tempo and little-changing beat. Lastly, there’s a Club Version of "Countryside Diary", and while you can pick out stronger dance elements in it, it doesn't sound much different from the original.

‘Countryside Life’ is very much CCM’s statement that T-ara can and will bring itself out of the dirt, and though not perfect, it’s hard to argue against the effort. I’m going to say pick up a box of ‘Countryside Life’ and give them that chance – you might find the new styling something you can get used to.
