YesAsia Editorial Description

Already up to his third mini-album of the year, super rookie Tae Goon is not only clearly ahead of the male newcomer pack, he's turning into one of K-pop's most prolific stars. Tae Goon has been making moves into the Japan market recently, but he's staying busy on the home front as well with another new release. Following the success of Call Me and Super Star, Tae Goon's latest single is the house and hip-hop number "Betrayed" (Track 2), composed by Changttai (Kim Chang Dae) who wrote the 2PM hit "I Hate You". The song features narration by popular actress Lee Yo Won and its music video co-stars After School's Lee Joo Yeon. The five-track mini-album also includes R&B number "Tell" (Track 3), dance song Step by Step, and The Beginning featuring Hoony Hoon and Suen.

Product Information / Track List

The 3rd Mini Album

01. The Beginning (Feat
02. 속았다 (Narration of 이요원)
04. Finally
05. Step by Step

Another great piece of work from Tae Goon! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
After the 2 successful mini albums, Tae Goon is back with another mini album that is much more outstanding. The first mini album is a great start and was followed by Superstar which was fantastic.
I have no doubt that Tae Goon would be the next Korean superstar because his talent and passion for dancing and singing is what is needed to be a Superstar.
Tae Goon has also been successful in entering the Japanese market and is currently receiving alot of attention from the meida in Korea.

The first track, The Beginning (Feat 후니훈, 수앤) was yet another fantastic Opening for this 3rd mini album. I have noticed that all of Tae Goon's mini albums has very good opening for the mini album and I hope that he would consider making it into a full length song instead.

The hit single 속았다 (Narration of 이요원), is a Pop meets Techno and Dance style influenced song that is catchy. I saw the teaser for this song and was already in love with this song because of the music video and his new look was really fitting for him. His dance in the song was also

말해줘 sounded like a very emotional song to me. I has a slow emotional feel and I would say that I love this song more than any other on this mini album.

Finally is another song that is very different to Tae Goon's style but I have got to say that it has fit him very perfectly. I love the part of the song where Tae Goon says: Finally, Finally, Finally~~~
There is drag at the last part of the Finally and it is not over done by Tae Goon. It sounded just right.

Last but not least, Step by Step, another dance song that is clearly Tae Goon's style for K-pop. Thankfully, Tae Goon is more towards the Dance-Techno-Pop style which is my kind of music that I listen to more often. And this song is really great to listen.

In all, Tae Goon has put off another fantastic mini album that cannot be missed by any K-pop fans!
His new look in this mini album has potrayed his mature boy kinda style,

He's back! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Taegoon has done it again! Another really nice mini album. I must admit that I was a little weary when he debuted in the beginning, but each single he's released has caught my interest and he just keeps getting better. I think he's a little underrated and deserves a bit more attention. Each mini album released has a slightly different style, yet he keeps his techno-dance feel to make it his own.

Track 1 - The Beginning (intro song) is really suave. It makes me wish it were a full song. (just like the Super Star mini album, the intro feels like it'd make an amazing full song.) 5/5

Track 2 - Sokatda (Betrayed) is released single techno song that is typical to Taegoon's style yet it doesn't disappoint one bit. I'm anticipating seeing this performed live. I really like the PV. 5/5

Track 3 - Malhaejweo (Tell me) is a really nice smooth, soft, techno R&B song that feels like it'd make a nice PV. It's beat kind of reminds me of Son Ho Young's single My Heart's in Heaven. 5/5

Track 4 - Finally is a really nice dance track that slowly builds up hype. It really makes you wanna bounce. It kinds of feels like a song AJOO would sing. ^^ 5/5

Track 5 - Step by Step. This is really the only track I wish were further developed. The back beat is nice but the actually vocal organization could be better. 4/5

Overall, amazing job Taegoon. Keep the ball rolling! ^_^

PS I just wish that he'd release albums instead of a whole bunch of mini albums. A lot of korean artists are doing this nowadays and its a bit annoying to have to keep paying for these mini albums when we could just save money and have them all on one disc... T_T
