Andy Lau teams up with French legend Jean Reno in the globe-hopping action-adventure The Adventurers! Directed by Stephen Fung (Tai Chi 0), the slick heist film stars the ever charismatic Andy Lau as a legendary thief trying to pull off one last job, while Jean Reno is the detective on his tail. Also co-starring Shu Qi, Zhang Jingchu, Yo Yang and Eric Tsang, The Adventurers delivers genre entertainment with complex heist set-ups and action sequences in glitzy locales.

After getting betrayed by an insider, storied thief Dan (Andy Lau) was caught and sent to prison. Five years later, he saunters out of jail and promptly meets up with his hacker sidekick Po (Yo Yang) and new partner Red (Shu Qi) for another heist. The three con their way into a charity auction at Cannes and make off with a valuable jewelry piece, much to the consternation of dogged French inspector Pierre (Jean Reno) who has chased Dan for years. At the behest of his longtime mentor (Eric Tsang), Dan agrees to steal the final piece of a priceless trio of jewelry from an eccentric tycoon in Prague. Meanwhile, Pierre recruits Dan's aggrieved ex-fiancee Amber (Zhang Jingchu) to help track down Dan.

Product Information

Sophisticated burglar Dan Zhang (Andy Lau) walks out of prison after a five-year term. Dan then reunites with his wingman Po (Yo Yang), an expert in computer hacking and weaponry. They are soon joined by Red (Shu Qi), a beautiful and intelligent chameleon. The trio cleverly find their way into a star-studded charity auction and successfully steal priceless jewels under the surveillance of Pierre (Jean Reno), a hard-boiled French detective who sent Dan to jail earlier.

Dan goes to find help from his surrogate father Kong (Eric Tsang), an unscrupulous and ruthless crime boss who commissioned the heist. Kong assigns Dan a new mission…..
