Co-directed by Chen Kaige, Dante Lam and Tsui Hark, The Battle at Lake Changjin grossed over 5.7 billion yuan (US$900 million) in 2021 to become China's biggest film of all time. Completing the story, The Battle at Lake Changjin II continues to depict the grueling Battle of Lake Changjin, also known as the Battle of Chosin Reservoir, between China's People's Volunteer Army and the U.S. army during the Korean War. Wu Jing (Wolf Warrior) and Jackson Yee (Better Days) lead the cast as brothers and Chinese soldiers deployed to the Korean frontline in the unforgiving winter of 1950. Viscerally recreating the grueling conditions of warfare in freezing cold environs, the film centers on the PVA's campaign against the 1st Marine Division of the U.S. X Corps, culminating in the decisive events at Watergate Bridge and Funchilin Pass.

[ストーリー]
