Inspired by the same-titled 2012 Emmy-winning social film, the magical romance drama The Beauty Inside tells the curious story of a man who wakes up each day with a different appearance. Sometimes he's a man, sometimes a woman, sometimes old, sometimes young, sometimes Korean, sometimes a foreigner. On the inside he's the same, but on the outside he's always changing. Just like this, Woo Jin passes each day, quietly making a living as a furniture designer and maintaining an appropriate distance from others. Then one day he falls in love with a woman, but can a relationship bloom under such unusual circumstances?

The debut feature of commercial director Baek Jong Yeol, The Beauty Inside grabs attention not only for its high-concept storyline but also its star-studded cast. Han Hyo Ju (C'est Si Bon) stars as Yi Soo, the heroine that struggles to love someone who looks different every day. Meanwhile, Woo Jin's many incarnations are filled by a staggering lineup of stars including actresses Park Shin Hye, Ueno Juri, Chun Woo Hee and Ko Ah Sung and actors Lee Bum Soo, Park Seo Joon, Lee Jin Wook, Lee Dong Wook, Lee Hyun Woo, Kim Joo Hyuk, Seo Kang Joon and Yoo Yeon Seok, who also serves as the narrator.
