Co-written by award-winning director Narushima Izuru (Rebirth), the suspense sci-fi thriller stars Ikuta Toma (We Were There) as a mysterious, but brilliant man who may be behind a chain of random explosions. To physically embody his difficult role of an emotionless machine whose body is as sharp as its mind, Ikuta Toma took on a vigorous training regiment six months before the beginning of production. The film's fresh high concept and Hollywood-scale production values intrigued Japanese audiences, who made it one of the most successful domestic live-action films of the year.

A series of random explosions has the police on alert. During his investigation, Detective Chaya (Eguchi Yosuke) suspects a young girl named Midorikawa (Nikaido Fumi) is behind the crime. However, the police are only able to catch an accomplice with the alias of Suzuki Ichiro (Ikuta Toma). During questioning, the police realize that this accomplice is a brilliant specimen with great physical skill and unusually high intelligence, but also no human emotions. Dubbed the "Brain Man," the mystery man attracts the attention of neurosurgeon Mariko (Matsuyuki Yasuko). A woman who believes in the inherent kind nature of man, Mariko decides to help the Brain Man piece the puzzle that is his past.

This edition includes audio commentary, making of, stage event collection and trailers. It also comes with a 40-page booklet.
