在先來後到的邏輯下，早來的人、懂得方法的人、有強烈的慾望想爬上去的人，總是有機會爬的快一點。這是一個塔，也是一個戰場，所以時時需要消毒、整理，因為傷痕累累血跡斑斑，同時，塔裡卻也不斷的製造新生命或修補毀壞的生命，這是往上爬必須的代價。

白色的醫袍下，各自包裹著不一樣的心情，看似聖潔寧靜的白色巨塔裡，醞釀著一場無法遏止的權力鬥爭，內科與外科主任為了角逐醫院院長的職務，一場爾虞我詐的人性角力就此展開…

This is a big step for jerry yan as an actor. he is very matured in his role --though it doesnt fit him. But I think he tried hard enough to make his character work. For one, he is soft spoken here and quite a nice guy. BUt in reality , he is more apt playing the bad rugged kind of guy. This series is too long for anybody to properly enjoy. take goodness for jerry yan flashes of smile that makes its audience relieved they are watching it. The story is great , however it was told by the director draggingly! The ending is a refreshing climax that you usually dont expect from a taiwan series. Had jerry yan turned out to be the same like his obnoxious teacher-doctor then this would have been more interesting to watch. Still, if you are a fan of Jerry Yan you will glad you watched this.

Best Ever Taiwanese production. Beats all those idols drama hands down.

Although Jerry as the lead is not quite up to mark, the rest of the cast pulls it all together.

I wonder how the doctors and hospital administrator thinks about this show. Is there some truth in this depiction of hospital politics?

Everybody must watch this! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is a great show though I hate the ending because it is so heartbreaking. Our beloved Jerry Yan (poor chap - he cried a lot in this show) cannot be together with his one and only love who left him twice and all because people tends to be assumptious most of the time. His acting has matured tremendously since MG and I know director Tsai could deliver another hit. Leon Dai is also great; in fact, everyone put in their best and I hope this show will carry off very well. Also highlighted to us that even doctors need to be treated, not just only treat.
