YesAsia Editorial Description

Starting anew amid the drama, Dong Bang Shin Ki's Jun Su, Jae Joong, and Yoo Chun formed a unit and held a Thanksgiving Live in Dome tour in Japan in June 2010. During the concerts, the trio unveiled four new songs that have been very well received by fans. Those four songs - the beautifully harmonized Itsudatte Kimi ni, the funky dance song Get Ready, the mid-tempo number Long Way, and the heartbreaking ballad W - are being released together on this mini-album, which hits shelves the same day as their concert DVD.

This edition includes live and remix versions of all four songs.

Great Start! :) Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
We got a taste of what TVXQ would sound like in sub-groups when Jejung&Yuchun released their first single (Colors ~Melody & Harmony~). That was a real treat, and now hearing Junsu added to the mix makes them a perfect trio (due to TVXQ's current circumstances.) I really enjoyed all of the tracks.

'Itsudatte Kimi Ni' is a nice slow Tohoshinki-like pop/ballad song. It kind of reminds of their past song 'Hello Again'. The soft melody makes you sway and the lyrics also capture your heart because the three are singing to their missing members. The remix of this song is amazing. The beat is sped up with a nice techno back track.

'Get Ready' is the most hype song on the mini-album. It opens with clapping sounds (that stay consistent throughout the track) and then leads into a show-like Broadway feel with the opening vocals. I think they must have had fun recording this track.

'Long Way' has the most gorgeous melody and really makes you feel like you're on a journey. It really lifts your spirits and let's you know that even if you may not know what the future holds, to just keep moving on. :) The remix of this track is also very pleasant with a more piano based melody and a sped up beat.

And omg, the last but not least track...

'W' is the most heart-wrenching song yet by Tohoshinki/JYJ. The lyrics are so pure and truly speak of their feelings about the situation they're in. It is written in such a way that they are directly speaking to their missing two members. 'W' stands for the shape of Cassiopeia in the sky and represents the five members. The lyrics speak of how it was no mistake that the five of them were put together and no matter what, they still loves the other two members and wish them happiness in all their endeavors. To them, there can never be a goodbye. Seeing this performed is really heart-wrenching because their emotions just poor out in waves. All three versions of this song on the album are excellent. The interlude where they harmonized singing 'Aitakute / I want to see you' near the end of the song is so gorgeous.

Overall, this mini-album is an excellent example of good composition and nice music with thought put into it. Everything seemed to have a meaning somewhere within the lyrics and this album is lovely for Tohoshinki fans and those new to the group. Though there are only 4 actual songs, this mini-album is too worth it to let it pass by.

Excellent! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This CD is excellent not only with the trio's excellent, heartfelt and emotional vocals, but you can feel their improvements, efforts and hard works putting into their latest works.

excellent in all regular 4 tracks, all 4 remixes and the 4 Live Concert Tracks!

01 いつだって君に:This 5 stars track is pleasant pop music with excellent vocals by the trio. The Instrumental Track for this song (In Jacket A) gets no star rating from me because it rather ordinary without the trio's vocals. The Remix version gets a 4 stars because of the pleasant beats and vocals. The Live Concert Version gets a 5 stars, an indication that they are excellent live performers.

02 Get Ready: I rated all 4 stars in all 3 vocal versions and the Instrumental Track (In Jacket A)gets a 3 stars rating because the drums are too heavy in my opinion. This is an excellent track for a dance party though.

03 Long Way: This song reminds me of Loveless by Tomoshisa Yamashita. It's a lovely and uplifting r&b track. When you're down and out, listen to it and you'll get a lift by the English Lyrics in the song:'I promise not to forget, always I believe myself, ...., ...., ....long way long way long way, ..., ..., .... I'm walking froward yeah...' This is a song that I think the Trio sings to themselves! The regular track is not perfect because the drums are a tact too heavy occasionally. But the melody is excellent and the Trio's vocals are perfect. Even so, this regular track, the Remix and The Live Concert Version got 5 stars ratings and the Instrumental Track (in Jacket A) gets a 4 stars. This is probably my favorite song!

04 W:Perfect score of 5 stars on all vocal tracks and the Instrumental Track (in Jacket A). I love their heart felt and emotional vocals. I love how the excellent acoustic guitar (?) at 2:37 min adds more sadness and character to this track, making it more heart wrenching I guess.

Nice Surprise! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I decided on Jacket B because it had the live versions of the songs, but I was pleasantly surprised by the remix versions, especially W. I just love hearing the beautiful harmony of the boys' voices, with just strings and piano in the background minus the heavy drum-like beats you hear in the studio and live versions. Long Way's remix is also interesting at a faster pace, and a long intro lasting 1min 31secs.

My favourite song is Itsudatte Kimi Ni. Although I've always thought Junsu's vocals is the best among the members, somehow Jaejoong's voice just stands out here and it immediately catches your attention and draws you into the song.

A great album to invest in!

Blew me away... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Tohoshinki may be disbanded, perhaps forever, but we still have Junsu/Jejung/Yuchun to help us keep the faith!

This version of the CD was fantastic...although it's really just based around 4 songs, you don't notice since the remixes are so different from the original versions of the songs...and the remixes are in my opinion just as enjoyable as the original versions. It's also nice to hear the boys sing live...they prove once again that they are more than your average manufactured boy band...they can actually sing, and pretty dang well at that!

I chose this version over the DVD version because my Japanese is basic at best and I figured I didn't want the DVD if there were no music videos and no English subtitles. Anyway, this version seemed to be just what I wanted and I can say I'm extremely happy with my purchase! If you love Tohoshinki, you'll want this CD for sure, even if the number of boys is a bit less than we're used to. They still sound great at any rate! :)

Wonderful Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I was deciding whether or not to get this version, since I already bought version A, but I am so glad I did. I normally don't like remixes, but this time, the remixes were really well done. In my opinion, the best remix is Long Way. I am in love with it. W (The big sky in the east ver.) has violins in the background and it's also very pretty. And as for Get Ready, the remix is 8 minutes long and it's fun of power and fun.

Itsudatte Kimi Ni's remix was a bit weird to me, but maybe that is just me.

They also include the Live versions the boys sang in the Dome, and you would notice some difference from the CD version.
