It's pint-sized Godzillas fighting a Chinese, armored, knight warrior in one of Hong Kong's most fantastical films ever in the Super Inframan. Mixing motorbike shenanigans with mind-boggling fight choreography, a young Danny Lee (internationally known from John Woo's The Killer), must save the earth from legions of demons and monsters from the Earth's center lead by the blonde-haired, Demon Princess. Watch for great cinematography by He Lan-shan who did Bruce Lee's Way of The Dragon.

Wonderfully goofy actioner Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
In "Super Inframan", we learn that during the Earth's last Ice Age, a human civilization somehow became trapped underground. Over the centuries, this civilization morphs into a group of strange monsters. Now they have emerged and, under the direction of their evil (but comely) leader Elzibub (Lau Wei Yu), they seek to gain control of the world. Scientist Liu Ying De (Wong Hap) and his Science Research Department are assaulted by the monsters. Liu realizes that the only hope for mankind is to employ his new untested Inframan technology to create a super-being who can defeat these monsters. Liu's top student Lei Ma (Danny Lee) agrees to undergo the transformation into Super Inframan and soon the battle is joined between evil Elzibub and the monsters on one hand and brave Inframan and the scientists on the other.

"Super Inframan" serves up some of the goofiest looking monsters ever to don a rubber suit and boasts a bunch of truly cheesy special effects. Bruce Le is on hand to kick some monster behinds and actresses Yuan Man Ji and Dana deliver the eye candy. It's all very silly ... and very entertaining. If you seek a diverting popcorn flick, you can't do much better than this.

I saw this one back in the 80's when I was a kid and it was magical!! I just purchased this remastered version and , trust me, it is still magical. Very good choregraphies ( suprisingly fast for the time and the big costume ), the story and sets are eye candy all the way Baby!!!! Classic

First, it was great to see it in a widescreen format other then the old english dubbed vhs version. The picture quality is awesome except during certain action scene's the picture gets a little blurry.

The sound track and scene's where Rayma turn's into Inframan are totally differet then the American vhs version adding more excitment to the film. The dialog comes in Madarin and Cantonese which play back at the same time with a slight delay causing an echo.

Still Unless you want to wait for the region 0 dvd version I would recomend it. The playback is also in stereo surroundsound something the vhs also did not offer.

Super Inframan Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
Besides his two other classics, "Oily Manic" and "Peking Man", Danny Lee's "Super Inframan" had brought back the good old "Ultraman" memories.
Pretty interesting - for those "young at heart". Await for the next Danny's movie.
