Jang Dong Yoon (School 2017) disguises as a widow to enter a women-only village and falls in love with a gisaeng played by Kim So Hyun (Radio Romance) in the Joseon-set romcom The Tale of Nokdu! Directed by Kim Dong Hwi (Fight For My Way) and written by Im Ye Jin (Love in the Moonlight), the popular webtoon-turned-drama also co-stars Kang Tae Oh (You Are Too Much), Jung Joon Ho (Sky Castle), Lee Seung Joon (Mr. Sunshine), Yoon Yoo Sun (Rich Family's Son), Lee Joo Bin (Be Melodramatic) and Cho Soo Hyang (Duel). Jang Dong Yoon and Kim So Hyun both won Excellence Awards and Best Couple at the 2019 KBS Drama Awards, while Kang Tae Oh and Park Da Yeon (Sunny Again Tomorrow) were presented Best New Actor and Best Young Actress, respectively.

After his family was attacked by a group of female assassins, Jeon Nok Du (Jang Dong Yoon) chases after one of the killers and accidentally enters a widow village. While going undercover to search for the truth behind the assassination, he encounters Dong Dong Joo (Kim So Hyun), a gisaeng trainee who aims to take revenge on King Gwanghae (Jung Joon Ho). Learning of each other's secrets, Nok Du and Dong Joo start to live together and disguise as mother and daughter to help each other out.

[シリーズストーリー]
