The Way We Dance screenwriter Chan Tai Lee calls attention to marginalized communities in his acclaimed directorial debut Tomorrow Is Another Day. The moving Hong Kong drama premiered at the 2017 Hong Kong Asian Film Festival and received nominations at the Hong Kong Film Awards and the Asian Film Awards. Veteran actress Teresa Mo won Best Actress at the 37th Hong Kong Film Awards for her nuanced portrayal of a resentful jilted housewife struggling to care for her autistic son, portrayed by Best New Performer winner Ling Man Lung.

Wong Kam Fa (Teresa Mo) is a middle-aged housewife whose life revolves around her 20-year-old autistic son (Ling Man Lung). After learning that her husband (Ray Lui) is having an affair, she confronts him and plots to take revenge on the mistress. Other housewives in the neighborhood discover her secret and offer gossipy advice of their own. In the process, Kam Fa begins to open up and forge a new path for herself and her son.

Mrs Wong regards her family above everything but her husband falls in love with a woman with almond eyes.
