Jeong Ryeo Won (Medical Top Team) is the Witch at Court! The actress becomes a fearless prosecutor who fights crimes with a righteous rookie prosecutor played by Yoon Hyun Min (Tunnel). Created by director Kim Young Kyun (Spy Myung Wol) and writer Jeong Do Yoon (The Time We Were Not in Love), the KBS legal drama won the Top Excellence Award for Jeong Ryeo Won, Best Supporting Actress for Lee Il Hwa (Good Manager) and Best Young Actress for child star Lee Re (How to Steal a Dog) at the 2017 KBS Drama Awards. Chun Kwang Ryul (The Flower in Prison), Kim Yeo Jin (Hwa Jung, the Princess of Light), Kim Min Seo (I'm Sorry, But I Love You) and Choi Ri (Spirits' Homecoming) appear in supporting roles, while Son Dam Bi and Lim Chang Jung make cameo performances in the drama.

Ma Yi Deum (Jeong Ryeo Won) is a great prosecutor known for her drastic tactics to win cases. However, she is shut out from the elite special crimes task force due to her unremarkable educational background. One day, she witnesses her superior Oh Soo Cheol (Jeon Bae Soo, Mad Dog) harassing a reporter. Oh promises to promote Yi Deum if she can convince the reporter to give up going to court. After realizing that Oh lied to her, she decides to testify against him. Her dream of becoming a famous prosecutor slips further away when she gets transferred to a specialized sex crimes unit. To add insult to injury, Yi Deum needs to work with her enemy Yeo Jin Wook (Yoon Hyun Min), who fought with her over Oh's case.
