YesAsia Editorial Description

2007 has been a crowded year for newcomer girl groups, with the high-profile debuts of Kara, Babyvox Re.V, Girls Generation, and Wonder Girls. Despite the competition, the odds are certainly in favor of Wonder Girls considering the five members were handpicked by renowned producer Park Jin Young, who helped launch Rain into international fame. Since their debut single in February, it's been non-stop work for the Wonder Girls, from singing to acting to hosting. Unfortunately, Hyun Ah had to leave the group in July due to health reasons, but the girls are now starting anew with a new member, Kim Yoo Bin, and their first full-length album.

Produced by Park Jin Young and Kuon Teun, The Wonder Year comes with ten new songs packaged with an 80s retro theme. Written and composed by Park Jin Young, Tell Me is a funky 80s-style dance number that captures the girls' vibrant energy. Shinhwa's Lee Min Woo, meanwhile, composed and features in Move. The album also comes with the three songs from their earlier release - R&B number Bad Boy, ballad "A Sorry Mind" (Track 12), and of course their catchy hit single Irony.

The Wonder years.
'80년대에 대한 완벽한 레트로(Retro)

"The Wonder Years"에는 총 13곡이 수록되어 있다.

K-pop Essential Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I got this album because I considered it a legendary K-pop album, only knowing a few of the songs. But once I listened to it a couple of times, I realized that this is one of the best pop albums ever! I honestly listen to at least a couple of songs from it every day. It has the great hits like Tell Me and Irony, but every song on the album is unique and colourful.

Do yourself a favor and get this one before they stop printing it.

Move! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
The Wonder Year is a great album, and highly-recommended for Wonderfuls!

'이바보' and Headache are great songs with funky, catchy melodies, full of Wonder Girls-ness! They always make me wanna sing along listening to!

Tell Me has a really cute and bubbly melody, even the lyrics are so cute, and I'm happy that Wonder Girls are able to show off their cute side without wearing super short skirts and reveal their belly :)

'뭐 어때' really impressed me with the girls' rap. Not only Yubin but even Sunmi and Sohee! A very catchy song in my opinion :)

Friend, Wishing On a Star and '가져가' are great ballads with soft, sweet melodies just like Wonder Girls' other ballads, and I personally like Wishing On a Star a lot. The girls' vocals may not be perfect, but they always soothe my ears :)

I don't really like I Wanna and Goodbye that much... It's like another Bad Boy... The beat and melody are weird... In my opinion... But Goodbye is better, it's quite catchy when you're used to it.

Move is my favourite track from the album, it's so catchy and totally pulled Wonder Girls' sexy and chic style. Many may not pick Move as their favourite but I'm personally hooked to it the first time I listened to it :). Move is a song that make listeners really wanna move along XD

The CD design was very fresh and colorful, I love how they were able to put so many different colors in one picture yet the girls still looked so young and chic at the same time. Wonder Girls' outfits were amazing as always but I gotta disagree with their makeup artist. Only on the girls' faces that they're putting too many colors on. That kinda makes them look old :(. But overall the booklet was cute. I totally love the Wonder Girls' retro style :)

Totally recommended for Wonderfuls :)

Only Good WG Album Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Better than all the mini-albums they have released. (which were disappointing)
Full-Albums will always be the best. There aren't much pictures compared to So Hot/Nobody, but the songs are way better.
I would have to recommend 'Take It' and 'I Wanna' the songs too listen too - Take It is a very mellow song and should be liked the first listen, & I Wanna shows the amazing vocals WG actually have & Yoobin's rapping tops it all off. Yoobin's vocals are not up to par, but still able to listen too.
Sohee's vocals are completely melodic to listen to, i really think she is one of the good singers, her voice is just of a different range which makes her voice unique, my family seem to love her voice.
Overall, an excellent album and not disappointing as to So Hot & Nobody.
I highly recommend this song to ALL WG fans and new WG fans, this album will truly help you love them even more.

Addicting .. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I was hooked onto this album ever since i got it on May 09 .. I kid you not this album was on repeat for days .. I was getting too biased XDD Hmm what can i say .. You probably heard this a million times .. Tell me/irony/Wishing on a star/가져가 are the my fav's songs on the album .. Well thats my opinion, BUT ! i agree with one of the comments down there .. That said wonder girls set their own trend, So i suggest you listen to all their songs first .. Get to LIKE their trend and then buy it .. And then you can become a psychotic fan girl ... Like me. o_o"

Sweet as the cream ... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I am happy that finally these girls have decided to debut in America, I love "Nobody" in English but I like more if they sing this song in Korean, when I saw the CD I just bought it because they are so pretty and sweet ... and they are so cool!
