Yang Sung Won - Beethoven: Complete Cello Sonatas

In February 2003, Gramophone Editor's Choice hailed Korean cellist Yang Sung Won's performance as "a debut recital that shows technical brilliance and expressive boldness." Then in 2005, this promising cellist made history in classical music by recording all six of Bach's solo cello collection, known as "cello's Old Testament". Now, Yang Sung Won releases Yang Sung Won - Beethoven: Complete Cello Sonatas , cello's New Testament version featuring a collection of Beethoven's sonatas and variations. Yang is the first Korean artist to have recorded both Bach and Beethoven collections and one of the very few cellists to do so worldwide.

Produced by Tony Faulkner, a sound recording craftsman who led the legacy of Living Stereo music, in collaboration with Pascal Devoyon, a renowned pianist and a professor at the Berlin University of the Arts, Yang Sung Won - Beethoven: Complete Cello Sonatas promises an experience of a lifetime. In early November, Yang and Devoyon performed together at the LG Arts Center in Seoul, receiving rave reviews by critics and fans alike.
