A man who can't swim and a woman who can only swim forge changes together in Yes, I Can't Swim starring Ayase Haruka and Hasegawa Hiroki! Directed by Watanabe Kensaku (Prison 13), the Japanese comedy-drama is based on a novel by Takahashi Hidemine.

Takanishi Yuji (Hasegawa Hiroki), who teaches philosophy, can't swim. He's avoided water for most of his life, but he gets roped into swimming lessons by swimming coach Usuhara Shizuka (Ayase Haruka) one day. That's how Yuji ends up taking swimming class with a group of housewives. While learning how to swim and overcoming his fear of water, Yuji also begins to confront the scars of his past and reassess his relationships with his ex-wife (Aso Kumiko) and his current lover (Abe Junko) who is a single mother.
