The feature debut of renowned MV director Lin Jin He, You Are on My Mind is based on a semi-autobiographical romance novel by Cai Zhi Heng. Zhang Ting Hu (Brave to Love) and Sonia Yuan (Drive My Car) star in this pure and nostalgic love story that spans two decades.
In the 1980s, math whiz and class president Cai Zhi Chang (Zhang Ting Hu) is constantly at odds with Qiu Su Fen (Sonia Yuan), who is the "Mandarin language promoter" of the class. She's responsible for making sure classmates speak Mandarin instead of Taiwanese dialect at school. Though the two seem to clash, they are slowly but surely falling into their first love. After high school, Zhi Chang goes on to university, while Su Fen, who fell short, has to retake the college entrance exam. Just like that, life takes them in different directions. Many years later, the two meet again, and this time Zhi Chang is determined to not let her get away.
