In 1988, as Taiwan's era of martial law draws to an end, high school boys A-Han (Edward Chen) and Birdy (Tseng Jing Hua) bask in each other's company while teetering on the edge of something more than friendship. A-Han confronts his feelings for Birdy but the latter pushes him away. Directed by Liu Kuang Hui, the blockbuster gay youth romance Your Name Engraved Herein captures the tempests of young love and coming of age in a time of both change and repression.
Golden Melody-winning producer Chris Hou served as the music director for Your Name Engraved Herein. Nominated for Best Original Film Score at the Golden Horse Awards, the beautiful music of the film features piano by Hou, cello by IO Chen and trumpet by Stacey Wei. The soundtrack also includes two versions of Danny Boy.

本片由金曲製作人、配樂大師侯志堅擔任音樂總監，邀請著名大提琴演奏家陳主惠、小號演奏家魏廣晧，以細膩交織的旋律描繪片中角色的情感，在壓抑中萌發，漸漸失控。
侯志堅的鋼琴充滿了敘事感，以最動人的方式，將這段故事娓娓道來。他說：「張家漢與王柏德，他們有呼喊過、有爭取過、也感覺到無力。我要讓這件事情，表現在我的旋律動機上。」而這也成為侯志堅、陳主惠、魏廣晧三人在錄音室裡創作時的共鳴。
曖昧的小號貫穿全片，時而在遠處飄蕩，時而近在咫尺。在錄音室演奏的時候，魏廣晧將生命中的呼喊、掙扎與美好，都深深埋入他的音符裡頭。
而陳主惠運用頻率及旋律間的靈性流動，在錄音時打動在場所有人，在最後一顆音飄散在空中之前只得屏住呼吸，不忍打破彷彿已經凝結的完美時刻。她真摯、厚實的大提琴就像是救贖，在張家漢與王柏德迷失方向的灰暗中撒下一道溫暖陽光。
在電影中，1987年，高二生張家漢在烈日泳池畔初見同校的王柏德，從此再也無法收回目光。
這段刻骨銘心的愛戀，何時才能說出口？
