KOREAN TV BESTSELLERS

Continuing its popularity from 2017, Goblin grabbed the top spot as the best-selling TV drama of 2018. Two other 2017 Hallyu dramas, Startling By Each Step remake Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo and fantasy romance The Legend of the Blue Sea, stayed in the top ten for another year. Lee Jong Suk and Suzy's romantic suspense While You Were Sleeping came in second, followed by romcoms Suspicious Partner, 1% of Anything and My Sassy Girl. Two unconventionally set medical dramas – time-slip series Live Up to Your Name, Dr. Heo and Hospital Ship starring Ha Ji Won – also made the bestsellers list.

CHINESE TV BESTSELLERS

Blockbuster fantasy romance Eternal Love starring Mini Yang and Mark Chao came in first among Chinese dramas for another year. The actress's 2018 hit Legend of Fuyao is also right up there in second place. Gay youth drama Addicted and Zhao Liying's Princess Agents continued to chart high alongside Cecilia Liu and William Chan's fantasy romance Lost Love in Times and the acclaimed period dramas Nothing Gold Can Stay and Nirvana in Fire II.

JAPANESE TV BESTSELLERS

Besides ruling the box office, the live-action Gintama also topped our Japanese television bestsellers with its dTV spin-off thanks to an English-subtitled release. TV Asahi's hot topic gay romantic comedy Ossan's Love starring Tanaka Kei unsurprisingly ranked high in second place, and NHK's 2018 asadora Half Blue followed in third. The ever popular Itazura na Kiss - Love in Tokyo series also extended its unbroken streak in the top ten.
