Stray Kids bounced up to the #2 position of both the album and artist charts. Top-tier groups EXO and Twice effortlessly landed on the charts with several popular releases. EXO's Obsession was our third best-selling K-pop album of 2019, and Baek Hyun's first solo album took the sixth spot in the category. In addition, SM Entertainment occupied several positions on the best-selling artist list with Super Junior, Red Velvet and Tae Yeon.
Twice was crowned best-selling female artist again with their two album releases and concert DVD, while their JYP labelmates GOT7 and DAY6 own the seventh and eighth places among male artists. Loona rose to fourth place on the album chart with X X, and third place among female artists. Monsta X also leaped ahead to become our third best-selling male artist, claiming three entries in the album and video categories.
Super rookie ATEEZ proved their growing international popularity by breaking into both our album and artist charts for the first time. Seventeen's An Ode ranked fifth and brought the group to #6 among male artists. GFriend and BLACKPINK charted on the video bestsellers, and familiar names like Dreamcatcher, Mamamoo, IZ*ONE and WJSN all secured positions on the best-selling artists chart.
