Red Velvet climbed to the top-selling female artist for the first time with outstanding cumulative sales of their old and new releases. Coming in second and third among female acts,
Twice and

Besides Red Velvet, other SMTOWN artists also show their selling power. Girls' Generation's FOREVER 1 topped our K-pop album bestseller chart, and SHINee managed to claim three positions on the video chart with old concert releases. Though SHINee did not have a group comeback in 2022, Onew took the fifth spot in the album category with DICE, and Jong Hyun ranked #4 on the best-selling male artists list. Tae Yeon's INVU ranked in the top ten albums, and Super Junior and NCT Dream also appeared on the best-selling artists chart.
BTS was our second highest-selling male artist, and they grabbed two spots in the video category. For the top ten female artists, (G)I-DLE, Loona and BLACKPINK were joined by super rookies IVE, Kep1er and LE SSERAFIM, who broke into the chart for the first time. ATEEZ had two entries in the top ten videos and ranked fifth among male artists. Seventeen, TXT and Monsta X also sold well throughout the year.
The below rankings are based on Korean music sales on YesAsia.com from January 1 to December 31, 2022.
