Stray Kids are not only YesAsia's best-selling male artist in Korean music but also our top-selling artist in Japanese music! The popular K-pop group has the top two Japanese albums of 2023, and their JYP labelmates also make a strong showing. Twice ranks sixth among artists, and MISAMO, formed by Twice's three Japanese members, attains top ten artist ranking on the strength of only two releases, including the overall #3 album and #3 concert. ITZY's first full Japan album and first concert in Japan are both in the top ten.
NCT Dream is the #2 highest-selling artist with their first Japan single topping Japanese music sales. ATEEZ, LE SSERAFIM and STAYC each claim dual top ten singles and a spot in the top-selling artists list. EXO's Chen, Purple Kiss and Billlie are present with their Japan debut releases, while Seventeen's Dream and BLACKPINK's The Album have charted in the top ten for two consecutive years.
HYBE JAPAN group &TEAM's debut EP First Howling: ME also stays in the top ten albums for another year, along with their follow-up First Howling: WE. If there's any constant in Japanese music, it would be KinKi Kids as the duo appears in our annual bestseller rankings for the eighth straight year, this time with an album, two singles and the top concert video. Snow Man, the top-selling Japanese artist of 2022, maintains their popularity as well with an album, two singles and a concert on the charts. Diva Hamasaki Ayumi makes a welcome return with a top ten album, while global sensation YOASOBI makes a splash with their latest album, hit single Idol and member Lilas Ikuta's first solo album on the charts.
