YesAsia 2023 Bestsellers - Korean Music

Following 2021's Don't Call Me, SHINee tops our YesAsia K-pop bestseller album chart again with HARD in 2023! Besides the group release, Key, Tae Min and Onew each secure spots in the album and the bestselling artist charts with their solo releases. Twice is the overall #1 bestseller among K-pop artists with their #2 top-selling album READY TO BE, while Stray Kids continue to reign over the best-selling male artist list as well as the K-pop video chart.

Besides SHINee, other SMTOWN artists dominate the bestseller charts – EXO is in third place with their seventh album EXIST, Red Velvet comes in second among female acts with their third album Chill Kill, and NCT 127 grabs a spot in the male artist list. ATEEZ ranks second among male artists with a total of four entries in the album and video charts, while IVE and MAMAMOO+ rank fourth and fifth in the top ten female artists. Seventeen sold well wih their fan-meeting video set as well as reissue versions of past albums.

Apart from the above artists, the top ten female and male artists also include Dreamcatcher, (G)I-DLE, LE SSERAFIM, Kep1er, alongside first-timers NewJeans, aespa and ZEROBASEONE! IU, BTOB and BTS also each contribute a release in the top ten video category.

The below rankings are based on Korean music sales on YesAsia.com from January 1 to December 31, 2023.
