BL dramas have completely taken over our TV bestsellers charts, and the alpha spot goes to Love in the Air, which is also the only Thai series in the overall top ten. In the Other Asia TV category covering titles from Southeast Asia, Love in the Air is followed mainly by other productions from Thailand. There are five GMMTV dramas on the chart, with My School President, Moonlight Chicken, Never Let Me Go and The Eclipse all in the top five. Don't Say No, Not Me and Filipino series Gameboys chart in the top ten for the second consecutive year.

We Best Love retains its title as the #1 Chinese drama for the second straight year. My Tooth Your Love from the makers of WBL also ranks in the top ten, along with About Youth and every DVD release of the HIStory series including the newest HIStory5 installment. HIStory3: Trapped has charted in the top ten for five consecutive years. Taiwan rural medical comedy-drama Mad Doctor and Mainland urban drama Challenges at Midlife stand out as the only non-BL entries on the list.

KOREAN TV BESTSELLERS

Coming-of-age BL series A Shoulder to Cry On comes in first among Korean dramas in 2023, while 2022's top seller Semantic Error moves down one slot. The Eighth Sense, which got Japan Version releases, is the only other new K-Drama entry. Long-charting favorites like What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, Goblin and Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo continue to occupy most of the Korean TV chart.

2022's best-selling Japanese TV drama My Beautiful Man stays on top in 2023, snagging the top two spots with its two seasons. Cherry Magic! and Old Fashion Cupcake also remain in the top ten, which is composed entirely of dramas based on BL manga or novels. Popular new BL series on the chart include Our Dining Table, Eternal Yesterday and the sequel to Minato's Laundromat that also ranked in 2022.
