　西暦2046年のある日。片田舎の警察署にデミン（アレックス・フォン）という警官が配属される。実は彼は、人間には危険すぎる任務を担うために作られたサイボーグ“K-1”。しかし、このことはデミンの上司ダーチュン（フー・ジュン）しか知らなかった。どんな仕事でも難なく瞬時にこなすデミンは、あっという間に署の注目の的に。署員のスーメイ（スン・リー）は、そんな彼に想いを寄せるようになる。ところが“愛”という感情がプログラミングされていないデミンは、スーメイと接するたびにフリーズするようになってしまう。そんな中、同じサイボーグのK-88（ウー・ジン）が暴走したという情報が入り、デミンは彼らを探しに向かうのだが…。
